Lush Life at The O2!!

Well okay, we didn't exactly play in the huge arena but a few paces from it is the The WM Restaurant and Jazz Club. We played this venue in May earlier this year and we made a return visit this Saturday 18th October.

The WM Jazz Club has the vibe and intimacy not disimilar to Ronnie Scott's. This year they have welcomed iconic acts and performers such as Hazel O'Connor, The Darius Brubeck Quartet, Dean Friedman, Andy Fairweather Low, China Crisis and of course Lush Life.

We love this gig, not least because it is an amazing experience performing under this giant canvas that is the O2 but the management and staff of the venue cannot do enough to assist and are nothing short of charming and professional in the way they dealt with our needs.

So we performed our latest set of songs including some brand new exciting covers that we arrange in our own unique Lush Life way. Our audience seemed hugely appreciate and as usual they found it impossible to remain seated. They loved our version of Come Together and Midnight at The Oasis and The Lush Life version of Golden Brown always gets a great reaction.

We had an amazing time on Saturday and a fantastic audience. All in a day's work........that's the Lush Life for you.
